Team 2 projects a mixed-use neighborhood linked by a pedestrian bridge to a new convention center. The distribution of uses (diagram) is geared to taking best advantage of the river and highlighting historic building suitable for reuse.
Parkland and public uses are concentrated along the river's edge, providing public access and natural stormwater retention possibilities, as seen in this section through the east bank of the peninsula.
