Team 4 also concentrated on the quality of water entering the Cuyahoga. In their proposal, Kingsbury Run is "naturalized" from its current culverted state. This creates a pleasant connection into the valley from the core of the Slavic Village neighborhood.

Water quality is further improved in a constructed wetland that occupies the site of the original Standard Oil refinery. Boardwalks through the site allow for simultaneous interpretation of the newly introduced natural process and the preserved historic artifacts of this very significant site.
