ward 1 master plan

CLEVELAND, OH

The planning process for the Ward I Master Plan Update began in May of 2012, and completed in October of 2013. The process consisted of a series of steering committee and public meetings with the Harvard Community Center and its constituents to discuss the needs and desires of the community, such that this plan might be formally adopted by the Cleveland City Planning Commission. A diverse group of Ward 1 citizens and stakeholders were convened to provide vision for the update of previous plans for the area, completed by the Cleveland Urban Design Collaborative. The aim of this plan is to provide a framework for a shared vision of the community, which might provide direction for constructive dialogue and completion of projects in the neighborhood.
